Rough, final and touch-up cleaning for new builds and remodels across South Florida, so the walkthrough shows the finished work and not the drywall dust.
Construction cleaning happens in stages, and each one has a job. The rough clean comes after drywall and paint, before flooring and fixtures are finished, and removes the bulk debris and heavy dust so the finish trades can work. The final clean comes once the last trade is out and makes the home ready for the walkthrough, with every surface wiped, every sticker gone and every window clear. The touch-up covers the dust that the punch-list crew leaves behind in the days before keys are handed over. Gulf & Bay Cleaning Co. does all three, on the dates your schedule needs.
Drywall dust is the enemy. It settles in window tracks, inside cabinets and drawers, on the top of every door, in the AC vents and returns, and in the grout of a floor that was laid last week. On top of it come manufacturer stickers on windows and appliances, protective film on fixtures, paint overspray on tile and glass, grout haze, sawdust inside closets and adhesive left by floor protection. A general cleaner will wipe the counters and call it done. We work from the ceiling down, room by room, and finish with the floors so the dust has nowhere left to go.
We see a lot of new construction. Cape Coral and Lehigh Acres are full of single-family builds on lots that were empty two years ago, and Homestead has whole communities coming online along the Turnpike and Krome Avenue. Along the Gulf, homes that were gutted after Hurricane Ian in Fort Myers Beach, Pine Island and San Carlos Park are being finished and need a final clean before the family moves back in. Remodels in Coral Gables, Weston and Boca Raton bring dust into occupied homes, and condo renovations on the coast come with loading dock rules and elevator pads that we handle with the building.
Builders and remodelers get a crew that shows up on the scheduled day, works around inspections and delivers a home the superintendent can walk without a punch note about dust. Homeowners get the same crew and the same result for a kitchen remodel or a whole-house renovation. Send us the square footage, the stage you need and the target date, and you get a firm price before we start. We are licensed and insured, we bring our own equipment, including HEPA vacuums, and we can clean several homes in the same community on the same route.

FAQ
The rough clean happens mid-construction, usually after drywall and paint, and removes debris and heavy dust so the finish trades have a workable space. The final clean happens after the last trade leaves and makes every surface, window, cabinet and floor walkthrough-ready. Many projects also add a touch-up a day or two before closing to catch punch-list dust.
After the last trade is out, including the punch-list fixes if possible. If a painter or floor installer comes back after we clean, they bring dust back with them. The best sequence is final clean, then a short touch-up right before the walkthrough. Tell us your target date and we will hold the crew for it.
Yes. Manufacturer stickers on windows, appliances and fixtures, protective film on faucets and adhesive from floor protection are all part of the final clean. Paint overspray and grout haze are removed from tile, glass and fixtures using products safe for those finishes. Overspray on unfinished wood or specialty surfaces is flagged to you first.
Yes. A kitchen or bathroom remodel puts dust through the whole house, not just the room that was worked on. We clean the remodeled space to a final-clean standard and do a dust pass through the adjoining rooms, vents and floors. The quote is firm and based on the size of the area affected.
Yes, and it is the most efficient way to work. Builders in Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres and Homestead give us a list of lots and closing dates, and we route the crew through the community in order. Each home gets the same checklist and a sign-off sheet, and the superintendent has one contact for all of them.
