A top-to-bottom reset for homes across South Florida, from baseboards and ceiling fans to the inside of the oven, shower grout and every window track.
A regular cleaning keeps a home presentable. A deep cleaning takes it back to the starting line. Gulf & Bay Cleaning Co. works through every room in a set order: baseboards and door frames, ceiling fans and light fixtures, blinds and window tracks, the inside of the oven and refrigerator, cabinet fronts, grout lines, exhaust fans and the mildew that hides in the corners of every Florida shower. Nothing is skipped because it is high, low or behind something.
Homeowners book a deep clean for a handful of reasons, and most of them are seasonal. It is the right first visit before recurring service starts, so the maintenance visits have a clean baseline to hold. Seasonal residents in Naples, Marco Island, Boca Raton and Bonita Springs order one as an open-up before they return and again as a close-up before the summer. Families schedule one before the holidays, before a graduation party or before in-laws arrive for a week. And after an illness in the house, a full wipe-down of handles, switches, remotes and bathrooms gives everyone a fresh start.
Florida adds a few items you will not find on a checklist written for Ohio. Humidity leaves a film on grout and caulk that a quick spray does not touch. Salt air on the coasts settles on window glass, sills and screened lanais, and inland it is pollen and dust from cleared lots in new communities. Ceiling fans run year-round and collect a gray fringe on every blade. Air vents and returns pull the same dust into the rooms. We work all of it, including the lanai and pool cage frame, so the reset covers the whole house and not just the rooms guests see.
Every deep clean starts with a walk-through, in person or by video, so we can see the size of the home and the condition of the kitchen and bathrooms. You get a firm price before we start and a list of what it covers. The crew arrives with its own equipment and products, including the ones we use on stubborn mildew and hard water. If you want the results to last, pair the deep clean with a weekly or bi-weekly schedule and let the maintenance visits do the rest.

FAQ
Regular cleaning maintains surfaces you use every day: counters, toilets, floors, dusting. Deep cleaning adds the places that build up slowly, such as baseboards, blinds, window tracks, ceiling fans, grout, the inside of appliances and mildew in showers. It takes longer and uses stronger, targeted products, which is why most homes need it a few times a year rather than every visit.
It depends on square footage and condition. A two-bedroom condo usually takes a crew half a day. A four-bedroom house with a lanai, two full baths and an oven that has not been opened in a while can take a full day. We tell you the expected time along with the firm price after the walk-through, so there are no surprises.
Yes, and most clients do. A deep clean gives the recurring visits a clean baseline. Without it, the crew spends every visit chasing old grout stains and dusty fans instead of maintaining the home. Once the reset is done, weekly or bi-weekly service keeps the house at that level with far less effort.
In most cases, yes. Surface mildew on grout, caulk and shower door tracks responds to the products and scrubbing we use in every deep clean. Mildew that has grown under silicone caulk or into porous, unsealed grout may need the caulk replaced or the grout resealed. We will tell you honestly what came off and what needs a contractor.
We move light furniture, chairs, side tables and floor rugs to clean under and behind them, and we pull out refrigerators and ranges when the floor and connections allow it safely. Heavy pieces such as pianos, armoires and sectionals stay in place, though we clean around and under them as far as we can reach.
