Salt air is the first thing to know about cleaning in Miami Beach. It rides in off the Atlantic, settles on sliding-door tracks, balcony glass and stainless appliances, and leaves a film that a quick wipe only smears. Sand comes next, tracked in from Lummus Park and the boardwalk and ground into grout lines and rugs. Gulf & Bay Cleaning Co. builds both into every Miami Beach clean: tracks and rails get done every visit, floors get vacuumed before they get mopped, and glass gets a proper wash instead of a pass with a rag.

The buildings set the rest of the plan. South Beach below 23rd Street is art-deco walk-ups and low-rise condos with terrazzo floors, original tile and no freight elevator, so the crew carries everything in. Mid-Beach along Collins Avenue and North Beach up to 87th Street are oceanfront towers where the management office expects a certificate of insurance and a booked elevator slot. On the Venetian Islands and Sunset Islands the work is single-family homes with docks, pool decks and a lot of glass facing the bay. We have cleaned in all of these and we know which ones will ask for paperwork first.

Miami Beach also runs on short-term rentals. Turnover day means the guest leaves at 11 and the next one lands at 4, and the unit has to look like the listing photos in between. Our vacation-rental turnover service covers linens, kitchen, bathrooms, sand removal, a supply check and a photo report to the host. For owners who use their condo seasonally we do an open-up deep clean before arrival and a close-up clean when they leave, with the fridge emptied and the A/C left on dehumidify so mildew does not take over the closets. Move-in / move-out cleaning and post-construction cleanup for renovated units are the other two calls we get most.

Hurricane season, June through November, brings its own schedule: shutters go up, balconies get cleared, and after the storm passes there is salt spray on everything and sometimes water on the floor. We book both ends. The team is bilingual in English and Spanish, licensed and insured, and brings its own supplies. Every job gets a firm price before we start; it does not change once we see the unit. Send the quote form with the building name, the size and how often you need us, and we will come back with a number and a date.

What we are asked for most here

Salt and sand on every visit

Door tracks, balcony rails and glass get cleaned each time, and floors are vacuumed before mopping so sand does not scratch the tile.

Turnovers between check-out and check-in

Linens, kitchen, bathrooms and a photo report, scheduled to the guest calendar.

Seasonal open-up and close-up

A deep clean before you arrive and a proper close-down when you leave so the unit is not moldy in October.

FAQ

Questions from Miami Beach

Do you do same-day Airbnb turnovers in Miami Beach?

Yes, if we have the booking calendar in advance. We schedule the crew for the check-out time, complete the clean in the window before check-in, and send photos when the unit is ready. For hosts with more than one unit in South Beach or Mid-Beach we can run the same crew across all of them on turnover days.

My condo building requires insurance and an elevator reservation. Is that a problem?

No. It is normal for the towers on Collins Avenue and the oceanfront. We are licensed and insured and send the certificate to your management office before the first visit. If the building assigns loading-dock hours or a service elevator, we work inside that window.

How do you handle the sand and the salt film?

Sand is vacuumed from floors and rugs before any mopping so it does not scratch tile or terrazzo. Salt film on glass, rails and appliances gets a proper wash and dry rather than a dry wipe. Sliding-door tracks are cleared every visit because that is where both collect first.

Can you open up my unit before I arrive for the season?

Yes. Seasonal owners book an open-up deep clean a few days before arrival: mildew check, closets aired, fridge and bathrooms sanitized, balcony washed. When you leave we do a close-up clean and leave the unit ready to sit empty through the summer. Both get a firm price in advance.
